4C 39.25, one of the powerful radio quasars, has been revealed as a superluminal radio source with peculiar kinematic pattern. The VLBI observation of 4C 39.25 with EVN+SHANGHAI is intended to investigate the structure on intermediate scales and its relation to the mas structrure, that would be helpful for sheding new light on explanation of the unusual superluminal source.
