We present a preliminary analysis of the X-ray spectrum from the low-mass x-ray binary 4U 1822-37 that was obtained with the High Energy Transmission Grating Spectrometer (HETGS) onboard the Chandra Observatory. We discuss the plasma parameters derived from the observed spectral diagnostics and how these constrain models of accretion disk corona sources.
