High resolution spectra are presented of the Na D and H-alpha lines for a sample of 29 stars in the globular clusters Omega Cen and M22. These observations are relevant to studies of mass motions occurring in the atmospheres of cluster giants and measurements are given of the Na D and H-alpha absorption line core velocity shifts, absorption line equivalent widths, and H-alpha emission line strengths. In this sample, H-alpha emission is positively identified in roughly 70 per cent of the stars. We comment briefly on some possible correlations between measured parameters which have been identified in this study, in particular those involving the Na D lines.
