High redshift radio galaxies (HzRGs) are unique tracers of the early evolution of the most massive systems. Ultra-steep spectrum (USS) selection is an effective way of identifying massive galaxies at high redshift and studying their formation, evolution and environments. We are planning to observe 87 sources, to complete our USS sample, which has so far found 5 confirmed z>3 and 6 potential z>5 galaxies and resulted in 4 published papers.
