To compensate the image motion caused by random atmospheric turbulence and mechanical vibration, a high performance correlation tracker (CT) designed for the Space Solar Telescope (SST) has been realized in National Astronomical Observatory of CAS. A resolution of 0.01" has been obtained corresponding to the object space of the telescope, with the -3dB closed-loop error cutoff frequency of 37 Hz along the x-axis and 40 Hz along the y-axis achieved.
