Experimentally measured counting frequency of events with charged
relativistic particle numbers greater than or equal to 100 which occur
at high altitudes in emulsion stacks due to cosmic ray nucleons is
compared with calculations. The measured frequency of events with high
multiplicity is approximately 10 times greater than expected.
