High energy electrons (E greater than 30 MeV) in the outer belt (L greater than 2) were measured on the Intercosmos-Bulgaria 1300 satellite. The intensity of trapped and quasi-trapped electrons with energies of 30 to 600 MeV was evaluated as a function of the magnetic shell number. The formation of the high energy particles was found to be associated with acceleration and diffusion processes in the magnetosphere.
