The HI integrated surface density is a good tracer of the spiral structure because spiral arms are associated with atomic gas density enhancements. In this talk, I will summarize how maps of HI outer Galaxy spiral structure have improved over the last 50 years, and present the current state-of-the-art maps. I will describe other large-scale features of the outer Galaxy, such as the warp and flaring of the HI disk, and discuss how these features interact with the spiral arms. I will also summarize difficulties that still plague outer Galaxy spiral structure maps, such as gaps in our knowledge of the outer Galaxy rotation structure, and I will briefly speculate on ways to further improve our maps.
