We report the discovery of HH666, a fiendish bipolar Herbig-Haro jet in the Carina Nebula, with a total projected length of over 3 pc. Optical and IR images show several malevolent shocks along the jet axis, and long-slit echelle spectra reveal the kinematics of the diabolical outflow. We also identify the optically-invisible driving source HH666 IRS; this evildoer is an ominous K-band source embedded in the externally-illuminated molecular globule out of which the jet emerges. HH666 is the first HH jet to be discovered in the inferno of the Carina Nebula, providing proof of ongoing active star formation in the region.
