The discovery of Herbig-Haro outflows associated with the high-luminosity young stellar objects (YSOs) AFGL 2591 and MWC 1080 is reported. In the case of AFGL 2591, three HH condensations were found approximately in a line through the YSO. The newly discovered HH objects are associated with the blueshifted lobe of the molecular outflow, and the flow direction is consistent, within the error limits, to that of the molecular outflow. Both diffuse and knotty H2 nu = 1-0 S(1) emission was found on the blueshifted side of the outflow as well as emission on the redshifted side. For MWC 1080, the HH emission was found to be predominantly east of the star, and a rather poorly collimated flow is indicated. Long-slit spectroscopy of the newly discovered HH objects shows that the radial velocities of both outflows are very high, reaching maximum values of 500 and 400 km/s in the line wings for AFGL 2591 and MWC 1080, respectively.
