We have developed a procedure to study the helicity of the W boson in t \overlinet events using the angular distribution of the decay products. We use pbarp collision data collected with the DØdetector at Fermilab from 1992-1996 at a center of mass energy of √s = 1.8 TeV. Assuming V-A coupling in the decay, we employ a maximum likehood method to extract the longitudinal fraction of W bosons in single-lepton t \overlinet decays.
