We present the prospects for a measurement of the helicity of the W Boson in t \overlinet events produced in p \overlinep collisions at the Tevatron using the DØdetector. Measurements from Run 1 at the Tevatron suffer from large statistical errors. During Run 2 both DØand CDF will benefit from an increase in luminosity and center of mass energy, producing a much larger event sample. This will allow better studies of properties of the top decay including the W helicity. We present a simulation study of the DØsensitivity to the W helicity using the angular distribution of its decay products in the channel t \overlinetarrow e+jets.
