A systematic approach to obtain IR line frequencies and absorption line intensities of HCP and HCN molecules from the molar band integrated intensity is presented. A full compilation of the absorption line intensities of HCP fundamental IR bands is provided, ready to be used for further applications of planetary interest. Each transition is reported with its wavenumber and with its absolute intensity and other subsequent useful parameters.
