A number of molecular clouds have been observed in the J = 1-0 HCN line. Preliminary results of these observations are reported. The observing program included an HCN survey of Sharpless clouds (40 objects), observations of dark clouds (15 objects), bipolar sources, some H II regions, and carbon stars. The HCN line has been detected in 11 Sharpless clouds, in some other H II regions, in 4 dark clouds, in all bipolar sources, and in the carbon star CIT6. Some sources have been mapped (S 106, G 35.2-0.74, and others). The 3.4 mm continuum emission has been detected in S 106 and in L 1551. The frequency dependence of the dust grain absorption efficiency has been estimated for L 1551.
