The scientific results on the atomic and ionic environments of comet Halley obtained from the observation of the Suisei spacecraft are reviewed, emphasizing the following topics: determination of rotational period 52.9±0.1 hours, detection of organic hydrogen atom and related biological discussion, and ion density observation in the plasma environment.
