Scientific paper

The work reports an extensive molecular dynamics study aimed at determining collisional quantities relevant to the Eley-Rideal ricombibation reaction of H/D atoms on graphite and tungsten surfaces. The subthermal and thermal collisional energy range (up to 4 eV) was explored, while the surface temperatures are those typically met in the interstellar media and in fusion plasma components, TS = 10-100 K and TS = 500-800 K respectively.
