We study the generation of a stochastic background of gravitational waves (GWs) produced from a cosmological Population of core-collapse supernovae in an explosive scenario for the formation of the large-scale structures of the Universe. In this scenario the generation of a dense and turbulent shell of matter at high redshift quickly produces a Population of pre-galactic objects, which could form stellar black holes. We show that this scenario produces GWs that could be detectable by both laser interferometer and resonant mass detectors. Our results show that both, frequency and signal amplitude are dependent on the redshift when the explosive cycles occurred.
