Means are examined of using guaranteed characteristics to assess the accuracy of spacecraft motion parameters determined under the assumption that the principal parameters of the probability distribution function of the initial-data errors are unknown, and only the set to which these parameters belong is given. The case is analyzed where this set obeys sufficiently general constraints placed on the mathematical expectation and the covariance matrix of the errors. The conditions are determined under which the derived expressions for the upper bound of the accuracy characteristic yield an exact upper bound of this characteristic on the set under consideration.
