The parallel program described here provides a random sample of galaxies in a large number of high latitude fields. Galactic star counts and the structure of the galactic halo will also be studied. The proposed exposures utilize the WFPC2 in parallel mode when another instrument is prime at high galactic latitude. The expectation is that these fields will represent a fair sample of the universe and the Galactic halo. This is a continuation of proposal 4849 into cycle 4. It is more or less identical except cycle 3 => cycle 4.
