Scientific paper

Several atoms and molecules have been detected in extrasolar
atmospheres. Most of these detections have been possible using transit
spectroscopy technique from space-based telescopes. Here, I will present
the results of a ground-based search for water in the atmosphere of the
extrasolar planet HD209458b.
