We evaluate the gravitational wave polarizations for inspiralling
compact binaries in the extreme mass ratio limit and discuss the effects
caused by the rotation of the central, massive body. The formal
expressions of the polarization states are given for eccentric orbits up
to 1.5 post-Newtonian order beyond the quadrupole approximation.
