The gross features of gravitational radiation bathing the earth from a set of 330 + 4 pulsars have been computed. Particular attention has been paid in evaluating the lower and upper bounds of the gravitational-wave (GW) background, in view of planning GW detection experiments in the frequency range 0.1-1000 Hz. The analysis seems to indicate that strain sensitivities of the order of 10 to the -26th would allow the detection of several sparse pulsar sources.
