Pulsar timing gives us a unique opportunity to study the nano-Hz regime of the gravitational wave spectrum. Here, we discuss the basic analysis techniques that allow the direct detection of gravitational waves using observations of radio pulsars. The current sensitivity levels of this gravitational wave detector are also presented together with future sensitivties expected with new observing equipment and analysis techniques.
