Teaching In Astronomy: Gravitational Lenses
Scientific paper
The gravitational lens is one of the major topics in the current astrophysics. Using an acryl bar, the authors make a "gravitational lens", which is optically equivalent with a gravitational lens in the universe. The authors show the design of and how to make the gravitational lens. Such a hand-made gravitational lens is quite useful in your classrooms, scientific museums, and public observatories.
