The possible depletion of interstellar Ar and its relation to grain
temperature and grain composition in diffuse clouds is discussed. Ar
depletion is shown to require grain temperatures that are certainly less
than 36 K and very likely less than 20 K. Observations of Ar depletion
may provide a useful probe of grain temperature in diffuse clouds.
