At the 2nd Workshop of the Atmospheric Chemistry Validation of Envisat (ACVE-2), re-processed water vapour data from GOMOS (GOPR_LV2/6.0a) were evaluated using independent satellite data. This paper presents results of the validation activities of Service d'Aeronomie, CNRS, France, member of the Modelling and Assimilation and Satellite Intercomparison (MASI) validation subgroup of the Atmospheric Chemistry Validation Team (ACVT) for Envisat.
