The integrated brightness and vertical distribution of the propagation velocity of F-layer radiation at 630-nm according to Salyut-6 photographs are examined and compared to data of other observations and theoretical calculations. It is shown that measured vertical distributions of this propagation velocity agree with calculated distributions when incoherent-scatter data on electron density profiles are used. Salyut-4 photographic observations of integral brightness are found to agree with other observations.
