Two methodologies of multivariate analysis, the principal component and cluster analysis, were applied to the systems of globular clusters in M31, the LMC, and the Galaxy. The statistical dimensionality of these systems seems to be greater than that of elliptical galaxies; the interactions with the host galaxy are probably the most important factor determining the physical characteristics of the globular clusters. The analyses show the possible presence of a multipopulation structure in the systems of the three galaxies. The globular clusters of M31 are similar to those of the Galaxy, while the system of the LMC exhibits more heterogeneous characteristics. However, more observational data would be necessary to derive exhaustive conclusions on this galaxy. Some clusters with anomalous behavior were singled out in all three galaxies.
