Solutions for self-gravitating disks in equilibrium with velocity law given by v proportional to R exp -beta are found. These disks are self-similar if they are of infinite extent. So, the properties of these disks at one radius are scaled versions of the properties at any other radius. Global and local stability criteria are given and compared. The breathing mode is also analyzed.
