This contribution reports on a systematic work on cross section measurements of 22 (pγ) and 7 (α,γ) reactions on nuclei in the Se-Sb region at energies well below the Coulomb barrier. The aim is to contribute to a cross-section database relevant to the modelling of the p process and to obtain global input parameters for Hauser-Feshbach (HF) calculations. The results are compared with HF calculations using various microscopic and phenomenological models of nuclear level densities (NLD) and optical model potentials (OMP).
