It is shown that the n ten-dimensional very exotic spheres - or, equivalently, global gravitational instantons or solitons - admit only a finite number of involutions. They are realized as smooth SU(3) biaxial actions on Σ10 and are classified by the universal group manifold CP2. A formula, referred to as the degree of symmetry, which quantizes the maximal symmetry that a global gravitational instanton could possess is derived. Namely, it is established that Σ10 admits no more than 20 SU(3) involutions.
