We investigate the feasibility of detecting gamma ray signatures of relic neutralino decays using the GLAST LAT. The exposure of the LAT to points on the sky was studied, taking into account the effect of orbital precession, instrument rocking, and the instrument angular acceptance. Exposure for typical points on the sky is around 20exposure was combined with calculations of signal strength from DarkSUSy and the galactic and extragalactic diffuse gamma ray backgrounds as measured by EGRET to find the significance of detection of WIMP decay signals by the LAT.
