Mean annual values of the deviation of the instantaneous pole from the mean one, irregular variations of the length of day, and year-to-year variations of the geomagnetic moment are compared for 1890-1968. A correlation is found to exist between these quantities, which is associated with the 35-year periodicity of geomagnetic-moment variations and the propagation of MHD oscillations from the earth's core to the surface.
