As shown in a previous note1, the geomagnetic effect on cosmic radiation seems to begin at the same latitude (about 50°) independently of the altitude. We concluded, therefore, that it would be interesting to compare the latitude effect of all our ionisation measurements, made during the two last ascents of the F.N.R.S. (1932-34), without taking the altitude into account.
