Four geological-morphological units are distinguished on the map: (1) remnants of pre-plain complexes, (2) striped plains, (3) smooth plains, (4) volcano-tectonical complexes. The Bell dome comprises several individual large volcanic constructions. Faults of different orientations and impact craters are recognised. A brief description of local geologic history is given.
