An examination of sheet B-22 of the Venera 15 and 16 photomap of the Venus surface shows that the area between Sedna Planitia and Bell Regio is covered with vast systems of magmatic dikes forming low ridges on the surface. They were created in fissure zones along major faults and perhaps above buried parquet. Volcanic features are represented by effusive-extrusive domes in large clusters in the middle of the area as well as by volcanic-tectonic ring complexes.
