We examine the geocenter angle distribution of the 1637 bursts contained within the 4B catalog. The distribution is modelled using an isotropic distribution of gamma-ray bursts and a sharp cutoff due to the presence of the earth. A comparison between the observed distribution and the model is made, which provides an independent assessment of the BATSE location errors. Examination of the error distribution near the earth cutoff is presented.
