Since 2000, a public event, "The Geo-Carnival for Children", has been held in Osaka. The purpose of the Geo-Carnival is to show children pleasures of natural science such as earth science, astronomy, meteorology, environmental studies, and disaster prevention research. Members in the institute, that the authors belong to, have participated in the carnival from the beginning of the event every year. In this article, activities of the events for six years are summarized, especially for the 6th carnival in 2005.
