The nonspherically symmetric solutions of Webb (1977) of the transport equation for cosmic rays in the interplanetary region is extended to the more general case in which the solar wind velocity in the radial direction is assumed to be a variable function of heliocentric radial distance (r) of the form: V = V0 (r0/r) exp gamma, where V0, r0, and gamma are constants. These solutions are valid for a heliocentric radial magnetic field in which the effects of particle drifts can be neglected. Consideration is given to the case where b + gamma does not equal 1 and the case where b + gamma does equal 1.
