We discuss our numerical general relativisitic hydrodynamic code which we are presently utilizing to simulate model of neutron-star mergers and coalesence. We have formulated an explicit finite-difference method for solving the equations of general relativistic hydrodynamics in an arbitrary 3+1 dimensional space-time. We discuss the numerical algorithms employed as well as algorithm performance tests of interest to astrophysical modelers. We will also discuss the application of this code to neutron star mergers and coalesence.
