A flowmeter for hydrogen and helium fluid loops was designed for the Infrared Space Observatory. The design is based on a commercial thermal mass analyzer (temperature, pressure, flow). Main modifications concern the electronic parts. A test program including functional tests down to 100 K, and vibration tests at qualification level were carried out. The tests fulfill all the specifications.
