Scientific paper
Ganymede and Callisto, the two giant icy satellites of Jupiter, have
very nearly the same size, composition, and location in the solar
system, yet their surfaces are profoundly different. A new scenario of
their geologic histories indicates that the differences may be only skin
deep.
