Experiment S-133 onboard the ESRO satellite TD-1 to observe the sky for high energy (greater than or equivalent to 30 MeV) gamma rays is presented. Data on galactic gamma ray emission are analyzed. Some problems relating to the extraction of the gamma ray events from the data and investigation of the exposure integral and of the long-term stability of the equipment are discussed.
