We present a simple model to test the proposal by Rees and
Mészáros (1994) that GRBs could result from internal
shocks in a relativistic wind. We compute both time profiles and spectra
for synthetic bursts. Some of the properties of real bursts, such as the
duration-hardness ratio relation, are recovered.
