Since early 2001, Galileo has explored the post-noon sector of Jupiter's magnetosphere. Galileo is the first spacecraft to venture into this relatively unknown region. In this presentation we show that this local time region is remarkably different in its magnetic field properties from other sectors. We show that the sweepback of the field lines in this sector is considerably smaller than that observed in other sectors. A comparison of electric current density from different sectors shows that the azimuthal current density in this sector is small reaching a minimum near noon. Models that explain these asymmetries will be explored. Implications of reduced radial current in the noon sector on plasma loading and outflow will be explored. We will also discuss the extension of the cushion region, a boundary layer marked by the absence of ten-hour periodicity, into the post-noon sector.
