The Large sky Area Multi-Object Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST) will be completed, and will produce large amount of spectra of galaxies. According to the process of accumulation of astronomical data, the authors design a warehouse based on the galaxy spectral classification system. In this paper, the feature of the galaxy spectra and character of data warehouse are described. Then the steps of designing the galaxy spectral classification system are shown. Finally, the result of testing the system is given.
