"Galaxy School" is a small summer school for general high school students in all Japan, which is held every spring at the Kiso Observatory, the University of Tokyo. Students of the Galaxy School observe various astronomical objects with the Kiso 105 cm Schmidt telescope and analyze their data using computers. Finally they present the results of their investigations during Galaxy School. Galaxy School was the first small school for general students by research institution. In this year, the number of the graduates of the Galaxy School is 88. Some of them selected the astronomical course in the colleges. This is an important result for "Galaxy School" opened at the astronomical research observatory.
