We compute the power spectrum of galaxy density fluctuations P(k) in the ESP redshift survey. The estimators of galaxy power spectrum are tested by means of simulated galaxy catalogues obtained from N-body simulations. These numerical catalogues have been generated considering either magnitude-limited selection or volume-limited selection. We apply these estimators to the ESP redshift survey and show the results and a comparison with the power spectra of other galaxy redshift surveys.
