The so-called 'new look' cosmology is briefly reviewed. Several new
theories of galaxy formation are summarized, with particular emphasis on
the isothermal or hierarchy model. Consideration is given to the problem
whether clusters of galaxies are themselves clustered into superclusters
or whether clusters are distributed evenly across the universe.
