We measured the galaxy distribution over the Cold Spot to test if this anomalously cool region of the WMAP microwave sky can be attributed to a supervoid. Large-scale voids at low redshift imprint cold spots on the CMB through the Integrated Sachs-Wolfe effect and could explain the Spot. We imaged six square degrees over the region with MegaCam on CFHT and studied the photometric redshift distribution of galaxies to z=1.
